“In this body of work, I made an effort to respect the time spent on the many processes of creating each story. I opened up my imagination and let it run through my fingers as I chose colors and made decisions about design. Not that this is an unusual way for me to work, but I really felt more aware of how the ideas flowed and how my heart connected to the relationships of the birds.”
